Inspired by a morning meditation in 2020, where I was transported to this place. Does-it exist? Who knows…But this peaceful zen that was reigning makes me wish to find this place, one day.

Créée avec de la peinture restante, dan sun esprit de vouloir la recycler. Le mélange des couleurs m’ont tout de suite ramenée à ces couchers de soleil californiens.
Created from left over paints…the purples and oranges reminded me of this most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen when I lived in LA.

HYPNOTIC STASIS
(STASE HYPNOTIQUE)
Née d’une vision lors d’une méditation en début 2021, je me rappelle avoir été complètement hypnotisée par ce tourbillon carré de couleurs vibrantes. Je ressens encore cette sensation de solidité et de joie pure que j’ai ressentie lors de cette apparition.
En reflétant sur ma dernière année, sur la transformation que Covid a amenée dans ma vie, je vois cette vision comme une mutation de mon chapitre de vie spirituelle des 10 dernières années, vers une nouvelle vie créative et matérielle riche en couleurs tout en restant dans un équilibre et une fluidité, et ce, sous les fondations solides que j’ai acquises et intégrées en moi.
Born out of a vision during a meditation at the beginning of 2021, I remember being hypnotized by this square swirl of vibrant colours. I still can feel this sense of solidity and pure joy I felt during this apparition.
Reflecting on my last year and on the transformation that Covid has brought in my life, I see this this vision as a mutation from my spiritual chapter of the last ten years, towards a new creative and material life rich in colors, while still resting in equilibrium, and fluidity and thus, under the strong foundations that I have acquired and integrated within.

INFLORESENCE
Transcendant vers ce dernier chapitre féminin peu célébré dans notre culture nord-américaine, j’ai créé cette toile en terme de libération et d’honneur à ce changement hormonal. J’ai aussi dédié cette toile à deux de mes “senseïs” de santé holistique: Dr Christianne Northrup et Dr Joe Dispenza (voir texte à l’endos de la toile, ci-bas).
Transcending towards this last feminine chapter of life, which is poorly celebrated in our North-American culture, I created this piece as a liberating tool, and in honour of my hormonal change. I also dedicated it to two of my holistic health “senseïs”: Dr Christianne Northrup and Dr Joe Dispenza (see the text at the back of the artwork).

Un jour, j’explorais avec de l’encre de chine et j’ai eu envie d’accentuer les éléments qui ont fait de lui l’icône tant reconnu qu’il est. Une belle pièce de collection pour les fans de Charlie Chaplin ou toute personne désirant une peinture plaisante et simple en noir et blanc.
My first movie star crush. Its infinite creative genius has always enlightened my heart, my soul. One day, as I was exploring with Chinese ink, I was inspired to accentuate the elements that made him the icon he is so known for. Quand je médite, je vois souvent des tourbillons, souvent symboles de l’univers ou du mouvement créatif. Je voulais représenter cette vision spécifique de tourbillons dorés qui me sont apparus et ce, à travers un mouvement de coups de pinceaux amples et des couleurs riches.
When I meditate, I often see swirls, symbols that are often considered of the universe or the creative movement. I wanted to represent this specific vision of golden swirls that appeared to me, and thus, through strokes and rich colours.
