Featured in the Community Connections

During the shooting of the TV show 450 North, I had the chance to meet with Kathy Nolan, an amazing volunteer from the Lower Laurentians area, who often writes for  The Community Connections.

Here is a link to  an interview she has written on my volunteering involvement.

The Perfect Gift Card

Original gift idea: offer to your art lovers an ART GIFT CARD and give them the opportunity to become original art work collectors.

Though art is retaking value and has an increased popularity among the new young adult generations, offering art can be overwhelming due to different factors: taste, dimensions, choses mediums, colours, etc.

When we know less the tastes and needs of a collector or a love one, by offering an art gift card, you allow him to continue or start his collection by letting him chose the art work that speaks the most to him.

Art gift cards are also a great idea for any housewarming gift, weddings, baby showers, retirement,  and any other great life event.

Spring Meditation

Observe radiance

Last year, during the launch of my EMAGAZINE (exclusively reserved to my clientele), I was sharing this meditation that I bring back each year so that you can renew with this energizing solar energy. After many months of .darker” seasons, this contemplative meditation  will bring a smile back to your lips.

Simply get comfortable in front of a window or outside in front of an inspiring setting, and close your eyes to start with the complete yogic breathing technique. ( Technique in French: respiration yogique complète. )

Once centered, opens your eyes and simply observe the radiance. Chose one point of focus. It can be the reflect of light on a flower, on a water drop, the overall brightness in the atmosphere. Careful NOT to glance at the sun directly.

Let yourself be impregnated by this “inner spring” sensation within.

Then close your eyes again and let yourself bathe in this spring essence for few minutes.

A sacred relationship to food

This sanitary crisis that we ar efacing makes us realize that we should not take things for granted anymore. On my side, it is my relationship and respect to food that I am developing more. Ok, yes, I did have a certain respect already for it, but there is something more sacred that seems to take place. Will we miss some food eventually? Will it become crazily expensive? And if this corna virus pandemic continues until winter?

I always have dreamed of a house with an inner greenhouse, but until then. I need to be creative and be in “let’s prepare for the next months mode”.

The 3 practices that I am learning to master are:
– Regrow from kitchen scrap
– Seedling
– Sprouting

Many ressources exist online on these subjects. Just google these words and you will fall upon a library of videos, images and articles on these subjects. Above, I have shared an image that I printed to put on my fridge as a simple reminder of the food I can regrow.

Namaste and Bon appétit!

Vishuddha Chakra

This 5th chakra is the first of the 3 spiritual chakras and encourages communication (expression and listening) from a higher place of consciousness.
It brings us peace, serenity, contentment and tranquility.

Blue is the first of the primary colors but also the coolest tint, inspiring us to slow down, to become still.

It is the color of peace and tranquility.
